Medication Update
Dear Parent/Carer,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to inform you of an important update regarding the storage of medicines in school.
In accordance with the Trust’s Supporting Pupils with Medical Needs policy, we are no longer permitted to store general medications such as Calpol or Nurofen for pupils.
If your child requires medication during the school day, please visit the School Office to complete the relevant form. This will enable us to sign in the medication on a temporary basis and ensure it is administered safely.
Should your child become unwell or require medication during the school day, we will contact you, so that you can bring in the necessary medication if required.
Full details, please refer to the : Supporting Pupils with Medical Needs Policy (2024).
If you have any questions or require further clarification, please contact the school office.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

REWARDS
Improving attendance is everyone’s business. The barriers to accessing education are wide and complex, both within and beyond the school gates, and are often specific to individual pupils and families. At Co-op Academy Woodslee, we will do all we can to support your family and ensure our academy is safe, calm and a supportive environment for your child. Let’s celebrate everyone’s success together.
